Hi All,
On a early morning birding trip to the north end of the Kitsap
Penninsula, I checked Buck Lake for swallows, but instead observed a lone
Osprey cruising the lake for fish. It did'nt take long before he had one and
flew to the north toward Foulweather Bluff. A pair nested successfully last
year on the bluff and fledged two young. This bird no doubt is related to
that family group.
Good birding,
Doug Watkins
