Here is my 2 cents worth:
[ ! ]-I SUGGEST that EASE OF COMPREHENSION SHOULD be the GUIDE - not a rule.
[_]-The common sense suggestion of the first usage in a message coupling the
common name with the banding code should be followed out of respect for
those who are willing and eager to read the posting.
[_]-However, the locations or names of certain birds should probably be
crypted to protect the species.
