Sightings for Tuesday, April 10th

At Beach Grove in Tsawwassen was a PEREGRINE FALCON.

Sightings for Monday, April 9th

In Campbell Valley Park was a TOWNSEND'S SOLITAIRE. On Sea Island was an
AMERICAN KESTREL and 2 GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GEESE while at Iona Island, a
YELLOW-HEADED BLACKBIRD and a PEREGRINE FALCON were seen. 2 BLACK
OYSTERCATCHERS were seen at the Point Roberts Marina.

3 PILEATED WOODPECKERS were seen in Minnekhada Park in Coquitlam while at
Deer Lake, there was a COMMON YELLOWTHROAT and a VIRGINIA RAIL.

Sightings for Sunday, April 8th

At Deer Lake in Burnaby was a HERMIT THRUSH and near MacDonald Beach on Sea
Island were a NORTHERN SHRIKE and a EURASIAN WIGEON.

An unusual non-bird sighting were 2 California Sea Lions at Point Roberts,
which attracted a number of bird species including RHINOCEROS AUKLET and
BONAPARTES GULL.

Seen flying over UBC was a PEREGRINE FALCON and also in the area were 8
BAND-TAILED PIGEONS.

3 GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GEESE were seen at Reifel Refuge.

In the Ranch Park area of Coquitlam, a surprise at one resident's feeder
were 3 RED CROSSBILLS along with 2 EVENING GROSBEAKS.

Further out in the valley were 3 TURKEY VULTURES, an OSPREY and an
ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER near Sardis and 2 AMERICAN KESTRELS near the
Chilliwack exit on Highway 1.
