Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report. This
report was made Thursday April 12. If you have anything to add call Harry

A possible THICK-BILLED MURRE was observed April 10 flying past Boiler
Bay. A BLACK-VENTED/MANX type SHEARWATER was there April 10 and 11.

A EURASIAN COLLARED-DOVE was reported in Burns over the week-end. The
REEVE continues to be seen north of Lower Klamath NWR. The TUFTED DUCKS
at the Astoria Sewage Ponds and at Hatfield Lake continue to be seen. The
Cedar Mill SUMMER TANAGER is no longer coming to the feeders there.

On April 6 a FRANKLIN'S GULL flew past Boiler Bay. A GRASSHOPPER SPARROW
was with migrant SAVANNAH SPARROWS April 7 at the LNG Tank on Yaquina
Bay. The MOCKINGBIRD at Brownsmead, east of Astoria is still being seen.

A BRANT was at Ridgefield NWR April 11. A PURPLE MARTIN was on Sauvie
Island April 10. Two TOWNSEND'S SOLITAIRES were at Powell Butte Park in
Gresham April 11. The TRICOLORED BLACKBIRD is still at the Fernhill
Wetlands in Forest Grove.

YELLOW-HEADED BLACKBIRDS were back at Breidwell Marsh near Amity and at
Fern Ridge Reservoir April 6. The MOCKINGBIRD in North Eugene is still
being seen.

FERRUGINOUS and SWAINSON'S HAWKS, and FRANKLIN'S GULLS are now back in
southeastern Oregon. Flocks of VESPER SPARROWS arrived at Malheur NWR
April 7. A BANK SWALLOW was at Headquarters last week-end.
