Cascadia Hummingbird Report - 4/12/2001

I just got a report by US mail from Tee Harbor, AK (near Juneau)
in today's mail. A female RUFOUS HUMMINGBIRD seen there on 4/8/2001
was (more or less) on time. I have also been getting late reports
(most by snail mail) from other sites.

Concrete, WA 04-03-2001 93 48.5000 121.3100
Tee Harbor, AK 04-08-2001 98 58.4167 134.7500

A female CALLIOPE HUMMINGBIRD was reported from Kaleden in the Lake
Okanagan Valley on 4/8/2001 the same bird (presumably) was reported
again on 4/10. This is on the early side for British Columbia and
no Calliopes have been reported from Oregon or Washington.

I have also received extra-limital report of Rufous Hummingbird
from Ohio and Texas. These reports are being recorded in the main
database (so keep 'em coming), but will not show up on the maps.

you must also be right.
