Yes, isn't that a fun place to observe wildlife? It's one of my favorite
places in the city. I have seen quite marvelous things at that site, just
south of the Grayline facility on West Marginal Way. Including the whole
osprey cycle from mating to fledging last summer. And sometimes there a quite
a few caspian terns. And for my friends who are less into birding, they can
amuse themselves with the barges and boats that go by.

The site was formerly owned by a company called Seaboard Lumber. The Seattle
Department of Parks and Recreation purchased it and reconfigured it. They
have been in the process of naming it. A Native American based name is the
current frontrunner. There will be a groundbreaking relatively soon.
