Hello Tweeters,
As Larry and Jacque mentioned the TVs near the road, I recalled observing a
small
gathering...err ..raft.., no..Flock of Vultures (isn't that a rock band )?
while visiting San Juan Island a couple of years ago. As we drove down the
road, I saw something out of the corner of my eye, flying from left to right,
heading right for my windshield! This large black bird was trying to get as
close as possible, without getting hit, and at the very last second would veer
up and we missed it by about 2 or 3 feet! We pulled into the next driveway,
and watched these TVs take turns getting a thrill ride off the hoods of
passing traffic! They really seemed to get a kick out of it. So did we! Very
Cool Birds!
Maybe these sightings are not that unusual, as others may have seen the same
behavior? ....any reports like that, Diane?
