I had forgotten to mention in my earlier message that I had found a single
male tricolored mixed in with red-winged blackbirds at a feeder on Old State
Route 26 in Whatcom Co. The House is located next to the Palouse River and
if you are coming from the west is before you get to the town of Hooper.
Delorme pg 55, 7B. A line of feeders are clearly visable from the road,
there must have been 100 American goldfinches as well.
