In the days before Sibley (BS) one could report large-billed
Savanna Sparrows along the Oregon Coast and feel reasonably
confident that they would be understood to be Aleutian large-
billed Savanna Sparrows not Large-Billed Savanna Sparrows from
Mexico.

But we are now in the epoch after Sibley (AS), where Anybirder
can go to CostCo and by the most comprehensive North American
bird guide on the planet for $21.95....

The large-billed Savanna Sparrow reported by me today at the
SJCR was an "Aleutian" Savanna Sparrows. Please adjust your
twitching plans accordingly.
