Hi, Tweets

To all of you thinking about flickers, etc.: I was at the Mill Creek WFW
office today and while waiting I glanced through their many free flyers and
brochures. They have a one-sheet flyer entitled "Coexisting With
Woodpeckers" that some of you might find interesting. I didn't check to see
if it was available on-line. It does say at the bottom, "DO NOT USE the
sticky repellent products like Tanglefoot, Roost-No-More, or Bird Stop.
This type of product may end up killing the woodpeckers and many other
birds in your yard." Sounds ominous. I have four species of woodpeckers
here, but in eighteen years only the pileated has occasionally drummed on
the roof, and then only a few times. Neat birds all.

Cheers, Diann
