I was at Snake Lake Nature Center late monday morning and was suprised to
see a female Mallard with a single duckling. Isn't this a bit early for
young ones?

Hand fed the blackcapped chickadees. One was quite unique, he had what
looked like white spots above his eyes, almost as if he had eyebrows! You

2 male/female wood duck
The female and duckling and a male chasing 2 males and a female out of the
pond only to have them return a short time later to do it all over again.
This played on for over an hour.

numerous towees and song sparrows

Nice time even though there seemed to have been an absence of birds.
