Thanks very much for the Ballard purple martin report; all the wooden nest
boxes are sealed to exclude house sparrows, but two gourds are open. The
earliest I can get out to open boxes is with a ladder during the low tide on
Thursday. That's where I'll be spending my lunch hour that day.
I didn't expect to see them in Ballard till mid to late May!
