1. I regularly walk the paved bicycle path along the Green River. Their are
lots of raparian birds. Today, there were a couple of different birds:
a. An adult non-breeding western meadowlark ( ref. Sibley pg 508). The
bird was see about one-third of a mile North of the Meeker Street bridge on
the East bank of the Green River ( ref. DeLorme pg 63 6B).
b. A Group of California Quail were seen about one-quarter mile North of
the meadowlark on the West bank of the River. The group was along the edge
of Frager Road.

2. A non-bird sighting, Very red migrating salmon catching a rest in a pool
next to the bridge.
