Yakkers and Tweets,
I had good looks at a male Calliope Hummingbird at my feeder today, this is
the first time I've seen one in my yard and the first one I've seen that was
not in the mountains. His red-streaked gorget was quite obvious, brightly
forming an upside-down "V", so typical of this small hummer. Always exciting
to see what new birds the migration brings to us.
