Hello Tweets,

I was just reading through Special Publication #5 of Oregon Birds"Rare Birds
of Oregon" put out by the Oregon Field Ornithologists c.1989, and saw a few
notable mid July-early August coastal Stilt Sandpiper records, so I though I
would pass them on to any authorities that may be interested, due to the
early juvenal record that Dave Hayden,and my mother and I observed at Jensen
access on the 29th of July in Skagit County. I am not sure if ALL these
Oregon records are completely confirmed, but they are worth mentioning of
these southbound migrants, although being "old" records.

1 at Yaquina Bay,Lincoln Co. on the 28th of July,1977
1 juvenal at the South Jetty of the Columbia River,Clatsop Co. on the 2nd of
August,1981.
1 at the Coquille River estuary,Coos Co. on the 18th of July,1982
