This morning I saw and heard a family of Western Scrub-Jays in the trees
across the street from my house on Queen Anne in Seattle. The two birds I
saw out in the open looked like juveniles and were very vocal, but the
adults seemed to be keeping a lower profile. I don't know where they
nested. This is the first time I have seen them on Queen Anne.
