Here are some highlights from today's birding for shorebirds.

PECTORAL SANDPIPER
1 on Moore/Skagit City Pond on Fir Island in Skagit Co. at 8:15AM
1 at West 90 Ponds late morning
3 on Moore/Skagit City Pond at 7:30PM

AMERICAN GOLDEN-PLOVER
3 in the field east of the drive to the parking lot at Jensen Access on Fir
Island at 9AM.
2 AMGP's were there at 7PM.

LONG-BILLED DOWITCHER
Several locations throughout the day.
18 at West 90 Ponds.

SHORT-BILLED DOWITCHER
1 at West 90 Ponds

GREATER YELLOWLEGS
1 on Bayview Edison Rd just north of Hwy 20.
2 at West 90 Ponds

LESSER YELLOWLEGS
3 at Dugualla Bay on Whidbey Island
2 at Moore/Skagit City Rd Pond

RED-NECKED PHALAROPE
3 at West 90 Ponds at 5PM

BAIRD'S SANDPIPER
2 at Crockett Lake on Whidbey Island

PEREGRINE FALCON
1 adult at Crockett Lake chasing peeps (no luck)
1 juv chasing a LB Dowitcher on Bayview Edison Rd north of Hwy 20.
Repeated attempts at the same flying dowitcher were unsuccessful.
