Regarding politics I'm reminded of Karl Marx' claim that a non-political
stance on any public issue really isn't possible. His point is that
avoiding political controversy is merely an endorsement of the status
quo. If he's right, we're doing a lot more political discussion than we
realize. Anyway, I haven't been offended and don't need an apology when
politics sometimes appears on Tweeters.
