As I am always on the lookout for county bird records that I have no
knowledge of, I would like to ask the assistance of tweeters. Below is a
list of species for which I have no knowledge of any records for specific
counties, but I suspect that they could likely have been seen. If you know
of any specific records for any of these birds, please contact me offlist
with pertitnent information.

American Bittern - Chelan or Skamania counties
Great Egret - Kittitas or Okanogan counties
White-fronted Goose - Columbia or Garfield counties
Snow Goose - Ferry County
Trumpeter Swan - Asotin or Garfield counties
Harlequin Duck - Cowlitz or Wahkiakum counties
Surf Scoter - Columbia, Ferry, Garfield, Pend Oreille counties
White-winged Scoter - Columbia, Douglas, Ferry, Cowlitz counties
Swainson's Hawk - Ferry or Pend Oreille counties
Peregrine Falcon - Columbia County
Ruffed Grouse - Island County
Blue Grouse - Island County
California Quail - Pend Oreille or Mason counties
Sandhill Crane - Island County
Black-bellied Plover - Chelan, Columbia, Ferry, Garfield, Whitman,
Skamania counties
Semipalmated Plover - Garfield or Skamania counties
Black Oystercatcher - Mason or Thurston counties
Solitary Sandpiper - Garfield, Mason, Skamania counties
Least Sandpiper - Garfield County
Red-necked Phalarope - Garfield, Pend Oreille, Cowlitz, Lewis, Skamania
counties
Glaucous-winged Gull - Pend Oreille County
Short-eared Owl - Chelan, Ferry, Skamania counties
Calliope Hummingbird - Franklin County
Western Kingbird - Mason County
Red-eyed Vireo - Mason COunty

These were just some major holes in the county lists that I have noticed.
