Some highlights for the last two days (8-15 &16).

At my house (Othello) I had a black-chinned hummingbird and Evening
Grosbeak. I also found a calliope hummingbird dead on the road in front of
my house.

The McCain's Ponds near Para Pond had a high number of red-necked phalarope
( 104), Baird's (7), semipalmated (14), pectoral (3), solitary (1)
sandpipers. There were 12 greater and 9 lesser yellowlegs and 22
long-billed dowitcher.

Bassett Park in Washtucna today produced.
3 western wood-pewee, 2 red-breasted nuthatch, 9 Wilson's warblers, 3
warbling vireo, 1 pacific-sope flycatcher, 1 MacGillivray's warbler, 1 Gray
Catbird, 1 Bewick's wren, 2 Hammond flycatcher, 1 spoted towhee and 1 yellow
warbler.

Hooper (Sue's Country Store)
4 western wood- pewee, 1 western tanager, 1 pacific-slope flycatcher, 1
yellow and 1 Wilson's warblers.
