Hello All,
I'm looking to buy my first scope and wanted to get
some recommendations and testimonials from people with
scopes. I'm looking to spend $400-500. My minimum
criteria for a scope are: 60mm or larger objective,
angled eyepiece, 20-60X zoom. I've currently been
leaning toward a Kowa TS611 because it meets these
criteria and the brand has a good reputation, but I
would like to get some other candidate scopes on my
list. Also, since I haven't looked through a great
many scopes, or at least not ones that I can afford,
I'm especially interested in hearing how peoples
scopes perform for them in the field.
