Juv STILT SANDPIPER at Hatton Rest Area sewage pond today Aug 17.
That's east of Othello (hwy 395 & #26). p 54 B2.
Lots (20?) of BAIRDS SANDPIPERS there also.
Few migrants further east at Washtucna, but managed to see GRAY CATBIRD,
OLIVE-SIDED, "WESTERN", & HAMMOND'S FLYCATCHERS. Another Birder
found a YB CHAT, but we missed it.

The Stilt SP was well seen. Yellowish legs, long, drooping bill, scaly
back, white eyeline.
Spent most of time belly deep in water, probing.
