Tweets - I promised today would be better than last week, but nobody believed
me. That, or the heavy rain scared them off. In any case, I was alone for my
morning walk today (whereas there were 8 of us suffering last week), and it WAS
better than last week.

Highlights:

Green Heron At least 2
Osprey At least 2, several sightings
Vaux's Swift All over - 100+
Black Swift At least a handful
Wilson's Warbler 2-4
Orange-crowned Warbler 3-4
Black-throated Gray Wblr 1
Yellow Warbler 2 I think

Definite warbler migration in progress, with small bands of warblers leading
the Black-capped Chickadees from tree to tree.

Also, swifts were Everywhere. Most appeared to be Vaux's, though some were
clearly Black. I had trouble identifying many of them to species due to
weather; there might have been more Black Swifts than I noted.

Still plenty of Common Yellowthroats and Willow Flycatchers, but (for the
second straight week), no Swainson's Thrush or Black-headed Grosbeak. They
*should* still be around, but nary a "whit" or a "chik"...

The rain *was* heavy almost all morning, and with only two ears and two eyes, I
managed only 39 species. Better than last week.
