The weather broke at about 1500hr this afternoon at the
South Jetty of the Columbia. Wind was SW at about 10kt.
Along with the birds listed below were 5 COMMON TERNS on
the river beach, a SPOTTED SANDPIPER at parking lot "A"
and a GREATER YELLOWLEGS at the pond west of Battery
Russell.

Lesser Yellowlegs 1
Whimbrel 19
Short-billed Dowitcher 1
Black Turnstone 25
Wandering Tattler 4
Red Knot 2
Western Sandpiper 107
Least Sandpiper 25

Red-necked Phalarope 16

A newly scaped field at Wireless Rd between the Scary Dog
Kack and the Slough Kack 1720-1740hr:
Killdeer 1
Greater Yellowlegs 6
Common Snipe 1
Western Sandpiper 50
Least Sandpiper 20
Pectoral Sandpiper 8
Baird's Sandpiper 1

This site is almost certainly destined to become a warehouse or
