What a day for the birds! Sitting on my front porch with rufous
hummingbirds flying back and forth past my nose and it sounds like an
aviary at the zoo. Most of the birds in this area and their friends
visited today. I love the first few days after a rain.

[1] Saw about 5 today, but yesterday 15 of them were visiting the
casacara berries.
[2] 4 of them still here, loving the pots of fushias on the front
porch.

[4] Juvenile-didn't fly too well.
[5] 2 of them flying along with a Townsend's.
[6] Saw Hermits, Townsends and MacGillivray's all at the same time.
[7] Saw 3 at the same time as seeing the warblers. Yellow everywhere!
[8] Flocks of these have been flying overhead for the past 2 days,
but still have at least one female, two juveniles and a male
visiting the feeders all day.
[9] Still 25 of them everyday, all day.
[10] Only one.
[11] A small flock of about 6 came through calling to each other. I
will miss them if they don't stay. They are wonderful birds.
