Subject: Lyle Christmas Bird Count help needed

Folks,

Our 6th annual Lyle Christmas Bird Count will be held Sunday, December 16th
and we will need your help to make it as successful as it has been in the
past. We are one of the few "east side" counts with 100 species and we have
observed more Lewis's Woodpeckers than other circles two of the last three
years.

One of the highlights of the Count this year will be having our compilation
dinner at the recently opened Wildflower Cafe in Mosier. It not only opened
within the last month, but it was just constructed this summer. We have
reservations at 5.

If you have tried accessing Birding Klickitat County lately, you realize it
has been moved. I don't know where...when teleport sold to earthlink,
things remained stable for about a year. Then, earthlink started doing
interesting things, like changing web addresses for web pages it hosted,
including mine. So I am not sure how or where my old web site is, but I
plan to find out once I retire ( January 1, 2002) when I will have enough
time to call earthlink customer service and get it all straightened out.
They are still collecting $20 per month, all because I don't want my web
pages deleted. Sorry.

Please let me know as possible if you will or won't be able to participate.

Hope to see you on the 16th,
Bob
