An identification question on the "krider's" red-tail.
I based most of my identication on the fact that this bird had two factors that did not fit the light-morph harlan's that I have seen before.
1) The head and front of this bird were almost purely white.
2)The tail had a pinkish tip to it, all of the harlan's I have seen, including the couple of light-morph, had no red coloration in the tail.

My question is have others had light-morph harlan's that could fit this traits. Even though uncommon a light-morph harlan's would be much more likely than a krider's in eastern washington.

1 Krider's Red-tailed Hawk near the corner of Look Rd and Brick Mill Rd. This is east of the Airport.
