This is the latest I have heard (see below)...
Coming back into BC they ask for id (driver's license) now--that is
sufficient if you are an American citizen; they might give you a harder
time if you're from elsewhere.

Hi. This is Daniel Bastaja posting for Wed. Dec. 5th, 2001. I spoke with
Mike Toochin on the phone today. He and about 30 other birders were
searching for the Ivory Gull this morning and according to him nobody had
re-located the bird up to about 11:00 am.
