Subject: COMMON REDPOLLS on Bainbridge Island, WA

HI ALL:
In case any Kitsap County birders are interested, Geroge Gerdts and Nigel
Ball found two Common Redpolls in a flock of Pine Siskins on Bainbridge
Island this morning. They were feeding in alder trees off of Eagle Harbor
Drive past Taylor Ave. (this location is on the opposite side of Eagle
Harbor directly across from the ferry terminal). One REDPOLL was pale and
resembled a Hoary but George just wanted to call it a "pale" Common. This
is an island first and the species is ACCIDENTAL to Kitsap County.
sincerely
