Friday, December 14th, 12:36 PM. Steve Dang, (206) 368-6687, today in West
Seattle, I saw 2 ROCK SANDPIPERS! The birds were about 200-250 yards SW of
Duwamish Head. Look for a condo with the address 1238 Alki. The ROCK
SANDPIPERS were in with a large flock of SURFBIRDS and BLACK TURNSTONES. It
was about 15-20 minutes after low tide.

Friday, December 14th, 9:01 PM. This is Rob Harrower. I had several PURPLE
FINCHES up at the Skagit Wildlife Management Area, from what I call the north
hedge row. From the parking lot, not the boat ramp parking lot, as you head
south, you cross the first little bridge on the right, take a right there and
head up to the north end. There you find a hedge row of blackberries running
diagonal that goes out toward the dike. There were also plenty of sparrows
and several unidentifiable hawks. Thats it, thank you.

Saturday, December 15th, 9:42 AM. This is Allan Greenwood, (206) 709-7435
At 8:15 this morning, at the Skagit Wildlife Management Area, Allan Knue,
Mike Donohue and I had a young PINE GROSBEAK, feeding on crabapples to the
east of the parking lot. Thats all and good birding.

Saturday, December 15th, 10:15 PM, earlier this morning Mike Donohue, Allan
Knue and I also had a...............static broke up phone message so was
unable to transcribe.

Sunday, December 16th, 3:03 PM. This is Barry Levine, (206) 526-8676,
calling from Ladner B.C. The IVORY GULL was seen today at Robert's Bank and
it was located by the same gentleman who located it yesterday. Today it was
on the otherside of the bank, so if you are looking for the bird,
approaching Robert's Bank, at the blinking light make a righthand turn,
follow the road around as it goes over the bridge. From the bridge you can
see the bird between the second and third telephone pole from the end. Thats
all, good luck.

Sunday, December 16th, 6:49 PM. Hello, this is Michael Dorsett (sp). A
belated report from yesterday, Saturday December 15th. I was participating
in the Everett CBC, and at the Arlington airport where the westside trail
comes through, there is a very large Douglas Fir stand. There Greg Toffic,
myself and David Vanderplin had a large flock of RED CROSSBILLS, totalling
100 individuals that day, with probably 75 in this flock. We also had a
WHITE-WINGED CROSSBILL calling very loudly in this group. Also there was a
lot of PINE SISKIN in this area, and in the siskin flock of around 100 birds
was 1 COMMON REDPOLE. Thank you.
