Tweeters,

Kent Woodruff called me late last night regarding the Yellow-throated
Warbler, with a correction on directions. Take SR-153 north from Twisp, then
cross the Twisp River and make a left on Burger (not Ainsworth as I was told
earlier). Go to the 90-degree turn, turn right, and go to the 2nd house on
the left (311 Burger, I think, though I was half asleep when he called). He
said the feeder was stoked with suet and old apples; the warbler was very
aggressive and driving off the usual feeder birds such as chickadees and
nuthatches. He also said it was 8 degrees F and the snow is deep (3 1/2 feet
in Mazama up the Methow Valley!).

Kent mentioned "500 Bohemian Waxwings and several small flocks of Common
Redpolls in Twisp and rosy-finches in the area."
