The Port Townsend Marine Science Center has chartered a larger boat for its
annual New Year's Eve (Monday, Dec. 31st) birding cruise to Protection
Island. Having filled our usual boat we have secured a vessel with
additional capacity. Owned by a Native American corporation from Alaska,
the Fairweather Express has been wintering in Port Townsend and is
available for this cruise. The boat has great seating, big windows, a warm
& cosy interior, a quality public address system and great exterior decks.
As per usual we will depart from Point Hudson Marina (downtown Port
Townsend) at 1 PM and return at 4 PM. Our on-board naturalist will provide
commentary throughout the trip. To make reservations or for inquiries

Prices are $40 per person or $35 for PTMSC members, Audubon or WOS members.
