Re: listing or de-listing Calif. Condors. Roger Peterson proudly counted Ivory-billed Woodpecker on his list with no mention of de-listing once gone from wild. ( though that debate seems to be wiggling too)

There is much talk is ABA circles about counting Calif. Condor. Wasn't there one bird who was never captive? There has been some discussion that if you see one particular bird you can count it.

For me it goes on a list no matter what. I was not aware that there will be some great assessment of my list at the end of my life and all can pass judgment on it.

It just for fun. Others are more strict. That's fine, to each his own.
