At 1000 today there were 10-15 Common Redpolls foraging low and close to
the trail about 50 yards north of the bridge onto Spencer Island. They were
gone when I revisited at Noon. Also, in the large pond north of the
transverse dike trail there was a single male Redhead. Otherwise a nice
variety of ducks there and at the STP.
