Hi All,

I got there at around 11am and spent about 2 - 2.5 hours looking off and on for the gyr until 3:20. Hope my luck is better than Michael Dossett on this bird. I did see two mature bald eagles flying over the field, 3 Great Blue Herons stalking the fields for food, a Northern Harrier, and a Red-tail Hawk.

I spent some time at Blackman's Lake and saw a great assortment of waterfowl including over 100 ruddy ducks, 24 pied-billed grebes, a pair of hooded mergansers, around 24 common mergansers, 4 red-breasted mergansers, american wigeon, shovelers, pintails, scaup, ring-necked duck, coots, mallards, redhead, and double-crested cormorant.

Good Birding.
