I was watching a flicker gobble sunflower seeds the other day when I caught
a flash of color in my Walnut Tree. I got to watch a Red-breasted Sapsucker
scurry around the tree for about 10 minutes. Too cool. This is a first for
me and I wonder how common these guys are in Washington. Do they stay around
or might this one just be passing by. Anyway, its always fun to get a new
one when you weren't even looking for it.
