The following FOX SPARROW forms (according to the official CBC
Checklist) may be reported.

(Red) Fox Sparrow
(Slate-colored) Fox Sparrow
(Sooty) Fox Sparrow
(Thick-billed) Fox Sparrow
(Western) Fox Sparrow
Eastern Fox Sparrow

My guess is that Rio Cosumnes managed a high count with only 26
because they were the only count that submitted sooty form. They
also reported 152 undifferentiated Fox Sparrows, 1 Red Fox Sparrow
and 2 Slate-colored Fox Sparrows.

Any compiler who feels confident that all Fox Sparrows in their
circle were Sooty form (a pretty safe bet) could send them in
as Sooty Fox Sparrows. Go to the add species page of the data
entry site and add them.
