Courtney Conway (Arizona Coop Unit) has Burrowing Owl research going on in
the Columbia Basin that includes radio tracking the dispersal of juveniles.
In a visit the week of 12/11 they found 19 birds at territories that were
located this spring and summer. One of the birds was sitting at the
entrance to a burrow yesterday just east of Moses Lake within the CBC count
circle.
