Dear Tweets!

Oh no! Not another pesky birding trip......

......and I don't think I'll be able to get out of it!! :-)

I am lucky enough to be accompanying my friend to a Conference on Crete in
mid-March '02, to enjoy the birding opportunities while he is in his
meetings. I have acquired "Where To Watch Birds in Turkey, Greece and
Cyprus," (Hamlyn Birdwatching Guides, 1996) and plan to order "Finding Birds
in Greece," (Gosney, 1994.) If anyone can recommend any other books, I would
be grateful.

I am ESPECIALLY interested in any Birding Groups and/or Birding Guides that
anyone might know of on Crete??? I have not located anything yet on the
web.....
