Well, this is now the 3rd day with no Warbler at my feeders, although he's still being seen daily at Richards', as well as other locations around town. The Nuthatches and Downy Woodpeckers have also virtually disappeared, as well. I think I know why. Once the word got out that the Warbler was eating suet, a lot of people added suet feeders. I think this allows these birds to move around without breaking cover so much. Those of you that have seen my feeding setup know how open it is. So if you plan on a trip to see the Warbler, probably better concentrate on Richards' place. If things change, I'll send in an update. Happy New Year to all.
