Sherry and Tweeters,

To the best of my knowledge, the total population of Crested Mynas in
Vancouver, B.C. is two birds. No one has reported more than 2 birds
recently. Last winter, there were 4 or 5 birds, but it looks like the
end is near for this small population.

As recently as about 3 years ago, Mynas were being seen in other areas
of Vancouver (near the north end of the Arthur Laing bridge), but for
the last couple of years, all the sightings have been near the south
end of the Cambie Street Bridge (1st Avenue & Wylie Street and
vicinity).
