For the South Sound there's South Puget Sound's Best Places for Bird
Watching web site at http://www.blackhillsaudubon.org/bestplaces/ which has
site descriptions, driving directions, and maps.

As for Washington books, I tend to prefer Wahl & Paulson's A Guide to
Birdfinding in Washington (177 pp) because it has good maps. There's also
Diann MacRae's Birder's Guide to Washington (326 pp) which has more sites
described, but it has few maps. For Oregon, the stand-out is Joe Evanich's
The Birder's Guide to Oregon (288 pp) published by the Portland Audubon
Society.
