My wife and I birded around Bingen/White Salmon in Klickitat County on
2/1/01 and found the BLUE JAY at the corner of Garfield and Lincoln, the
TUFTED DUCK near the pilings upstream of the marina , and the HARRIS'
SPARROW at Bingen Pond. There are two spots where Stuart Johnson is
putting out feed at Bingen Pond, one at the northwest corner near the row
of cottonwoods and the other at the southwest corner. The one at the
southwest corner is along a trail that leads at an angle from the road
towards the pond. The feed is being put out around the metal sign post
there and this is where we saw the Harris' Sparrow.
