I found a flock of 20 gray-crowned rosy-finch along HWY 26 and O'Brian Rd. They were in native shrub steppe on the north side of the Hwy and flew toward Saddle Mt to the south. About two weeks ago I had a flock of what I thought were rosy-finch on Crab Creek rd. in Grant Co. about three to four miles to the West of these birds. Those birds were at the base of Saddle Mt. and along the road, at the time I could not stop in time and get a good look. This could be the same flock and could mean they are staying around.
