Hi Tweeters-

I am a student at the University of Washington studying great blue heron
colonies in King County. I've gotten a lot of great help from Tweeters
folks in the past, and I have another question. I am trying to establish
an account of which colonies have been active over the last 20 years. The
biggest gaps in the data I've compiled are in the last 5 or 6 years. If
there is a colony that you like to check on every now and then, I'd love
to hear about whether it has been active or not in recent years. In
particular, I'm missing data on Peasley Canyon, Lake Sammamish, Kiwanis
Ravine (near the Ballard Locks), Mercer Slough (at the Bellefields office
park), North Beach (east of Golden Gardens), Des Moines Creek Park, and
West Seattle. Data on any other colonies is welcome!
