Just read the account of the Seattle CBC in the SAS newsletter, and I'm
surprised by the numbers of Surfbirds and Black Turnstones.
Admittedly, I haven't been very good about prowling the shoreline of
King county; mostly just West Point and Shilshole and even less
frequently landing at Carkeek Park. Where were these birds seen?
Neither Wahl and Poulson's nor Hunn's books give much of a guide to
these birds in King County. Is this a recent trend?

I'd settle for Happy Hour.
