Hi Tweets,

The Common Grackle is still present in Stanwood, WA as of 2/12/01. I
relocated the bird at the residential intersection of 271st and 104th Dr NW.
There were flocks of Starlings and Red-winged Blackbirds in the area, but it
was not specifically hanging out with them, rather it was feeding alone in
someone's side yard.

The roads in this area are extremely narrow and unless you park on someone's
front lawn, there is no place to park. I would suggest parking next to the
school at 273rd Pl NW and 104th Dr NW as there is some street parking
available. When I talked to one of the neighbors, they told me the bird is
seen up and down the roughly 3 blocks of 104th Dr. in the lawns or along the
ditch behind the houses and adjacent to the field.

Good Birding,
