Greetings Doug and Tweeters,

There are several ways to get to Spencer. This is the route I usually take.
I'm always trying to refine directions to my fav birding places so let me
know how this works out.
Directions:
Northbound I-5
Exit 195
Go left on E Marine View Drive [main arterial] for about 1.4 miles
Then N on SR 529 towards Marysville [exit on the left].
Just after you cross the bridge over the Snohomish River take the first
right and follow the signs for Langus Riverfront Park. Continue past Langus
Riverfront Park and you will cross under I-5 and through the Everett Water
Treatment Facility. Continue to the small parking lot on the right, by the
sewage ponds. Park. Walk down the road [4th St SE] to Spencer Island. Walk
over the
bridge at the end of the road to enter Spencer Island. I bird this area
frequently so if you want company let me know.
