Have a COMMON REDPOLL at my feeder this morning right here in College Place
WA. It was a real thrill for me. I thought I wasn't going to get to see one
this winter. Couldn't believe my eyes at first but it is true . I even got
video footage. It has been back 4-5 times now. It is with a group on
AMERICAN GOLD FINCHES. I'm not sure how unusual it is but I've never heard
of them around here before. Appears to be a winter female.
