FOR SALE: Mirador brand 8x40 porro prism binos.
Used, but they have just returned from Mirador factory were they align
the prism system, collimate and cleaned them! Comes with dust covers and
a hard shell case in excellent condition.
These are high quality binos recommended to Evergreen Collage
Ornithological students as "the best" (at the time) entry level bino.
These have seen 7 years of "in the field" service. They have never
fogged on me( even in pouring rain at Ocean Shores in the middle of
winter!) and have excellent edge to edge clarity.
I recently upgraded and while shopping around and looking at everything
between $400.00 and $700.00 I found nothing that was significantly
better than my old Miradors. It wasn't till I looked at the high end
stuff ($800.00 plus) that I could really see the need to spend big to
get real noticeable improvement over my Miradors.
These are great for beginning birders or part time birders who just
don't want to spent a fortune just yet.
I'm asking $200.00 but might consider offers. I will allow a one week
try them out for size and you may return them if not happy.
